Styling The Outdoors
Posted on
Here at Escape to Paradise we love the outdoors. Enjoying the sun and the surf...we also love entertaining and dining alfresco. Styling our outdoor setting or the table, there are so many creative ways to enjoy the outdoors in comfort as well as in style. Our cushions are specially treated with a water repellent coating for easy care, if the cushion gets splashed, no worries, the water will simply run off the surface. Therefore, it is easy to style with the Escape to Paradise range without the worry of a splash or two....

Some tips to help style when outdoors:

 - Keep comfort in mind. Enjoying the outdoors can include different settings. Whether it is a picnic blanket laid out in the garden, or a beautiful laid out lounge setting under the pergola. Cushions can be used to set the tone for a relaxed afternoon willowing in the outdoors.

- Colour, and comfort. Cushions can be used to help create a colour theme or be used for extra comfort on an outdoor lounge setting to help bring the space together. Using colour themes of blues, greens, greys and clays...cushions or soft furnishings can also be used to add texture and something to cosy up to

- Eating Outdoors. When entertaining in the outdoors we immediately think of dining alfresco. The table setting can be a centrepiece of the entertaining area, therefore, some careful thought she be put into laying the perfect table for your feast. Adding a decorative table setting - using placemats or table runners. A tropical or floral theme can set the tone for a sunshine lunch, just remember to include a vase of fresh flowers to create the perfect touch to your meal

- Add some green. Lush greenery can be in the form of plants or flowers, or also visually with the use of printed cushions depicting large foliage and palm leaves in various shades of green. Using plants in larger planter pots or a small bouquet posy in a glass jar can help to lift the textural elements of your outdoor setting
