Inspiration for Outdoor Styling

Inspiration for Outdoor Styling

Posted by Onali Induruwage on

A lot of the inspiration for our Escape to Paradise collections comes from tropical destinations around the world. When travelling and visiting new countries taking lots of photos helps to draw inspiration from the outside world and places we visit.
From indoor spaces, outdoor spaces or from the landscapes and trees that appear in front of us. Alternative sources of inspiration include magazine images and visual colour palettes ~ our main favourites being shades of teal, coral, seafoam and hibiscus.....

Styling and enjoying your outdoor space is all about being able to relax in the oasis you have created. The best way to achieve this can be to include a variety of seating options such as benches, chairs, and even small stools. Adding as many choices as you can include in an outdoor living space will help family and friends enjoy it too. Putting a variety of different seating options together for a quiet chat or add extras around the table for a big dinner.

To keep your outdoor space looking stylish while remaining functional, this can be achieved by adding affordable updates in terms of the furnishings you choose. Teal blue may be your favourite colour one year and seafoam green the next. So when a new colour scheme strikes your interest, or when cushions or throws wear out it is easy and relatively inexpensive to swap out outdoor living accents. Go for new accent cushions, refreshed chair covers, or even a new throw for a reinvigorated outdoor living space. To keep your accessories looking fresher longer in exposed spaces, select options made from outdoor fabrics that withstand the sun's rays and dry quickly.

These outdoor options can also be included in your indoor styling ideas, in particular within light filled rooms and spaces that need that extra lift of colour and texture. Designing and styling our homewares is for both the indoors and outdoors.

So pick your favourite colour scheme and have some fun...
