Phuket Paradise

Phuket Paradise

Posted by Theja Dissanayake on

Phuket Province is located in Southern Thailand. It is the biggest island of Thailand and sits on the Andaman Sea.

Phuket is a large paradise island, that is home to some of the most amazing beaches and islands, such as Rawai, Patong, Karon, Kamala, Kata Yai, Kata Noi, and Mai Khao which makes this island paradise one that can be explored and enjoyed.

Not only are the beaches stunning, a variety of food, cultural traditions and amazing sunsets can be viewed and enjoyed in Phuket. A capital that is famous for colourful buildings, local markets and delicious Thai food.

Along with hidden temples, an iconic landmark on Phuket is the Big Buddha, a 45 metre tall Buddha that sits high on the hill with outlooks onto coastline of crystal clear waters and soft sands.

Island hopping from Phuket is ideal with the choice of beaches and neighbouring places to visit. A 2 hour ferry ride will land you in Maya Bay the set of the film The Beach, or head out to the Similan Islands, covered by thick forests, dotted with huge boulders, and bordered by stunning white-sand beaches. or Khao Sok National Park that houses dense forest and limestone formations.

On visits to Phuket, we love to absorb ourselves in the daily markets and hustle and bustle of the villages, though our days always take us to the sea...to enjoy the glorious water and that little piece of paradise.
