Guilt free vegan banana cake

Bananas are a great natural sugary treat.

Try this guilt free pleasure as you enjoy the sweetness on your taste buds knowing that no animals have been harmed and you’re only getting the ‘right’ kind of natural sugars.

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 9-inch square baking pan.

You will use:

  • 2 cups organic wholemeal flour
  • 1 12 teaspoons baking soda
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 12 cup rice malt syrup or organic maple
  • 14 cup olive oil
  • 4 ripe bananas mashed
  • 14 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence if you wish

Now: In a small bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and salt. In a separate large bowl, whisk together the rice malt and oil, then add bananas. Add water and vanilla, stirring to combine.

Add the flour mixture, stirring just until wet.

Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

And voila, there you have yourself a nice healthy tropical treat : )
